An exercise in semiotics, the 24/7 symbol is a simplified representation of what is known as — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's a symbol that has been in development and refinement since 2006, and that was originally inspired by the ancient symbol for Jupiter (King of Gods, sky, and thunder). It's a semi-universal mark using the Hindu-Arabic numeral system that we hope will be used and recognize as a simplified “24/7” and “Twenty four / Seven.”⊗
